Adj A/Professor Elissa O’Keefe RN, NP is a health industry pioneer, a highly-experienced clinician and educator and was the first nurse practitioner in the ACT.

She has an honorary appointment as an Associate Professor in the College of Adjuncts at the University of Canberra in the Faculty of Health and is a member of the Galderma Global Nurses’ Group.

Elissa is the current Chair of the Australian College of Nursing Cosmetic Nursing Community of Interest. Elissa is the lead author of the first ever Australian standards and scope of practice document for cosmetic nursing, has published in peer-reviewed journals both nationally and internationally and is often called on for comment in the industry. She is a contributor to the “bible on skin rejuvenation” for consumers the Slow Ageing Guide to Skin Rejuvenation.

Kelly Beasy NP

Kelly Beasy brings 18 years of experience to nursing with 8 years practicing in the aesthetic industry. Kelly started her career in the Aesthetic industry in Harley St, London in 2004 working for a plastic surgeon which sparked her passion for aesthetic medicine. Returning to Australia in 2007 she completed her grad cert in cosmetic nursing in 2009 and is currently completing her nurse practitioner masters. Whilst currently working for Artisan Aesthetic clinics, her background is in emergency nursing with a strong interest in clinical education. This lead to her taking on a position as senior clinical trainer and mentor at Face Academy which allows her to share that passion with new and upcoming clinicians. Committed to delivering premium quality care whilst ensuring the highest industry standards of safety are followed ensures she achieves exceptional aesthetic outcomes for her clients.

Anita East NP

Anita East Medispa

Anita has performed in excess of 15,000 non surgical cosmetic facial enhancements for clients throughout Australia. She has a broad professional background as a Registered Nurse for over twenty-three years. In addition to this, Anita holds a Masters degree in Nursing Practice (Nurse Practitioner) from Deakin University in Melbourne.

Hannah Rivers

Registered Nurse, Board Member for the Cosmetic Nurses Association, Director of SELF Cosmetic Science.

Post graduate qualification in Cosmetic Nursing and current enrolment in Master of Nurse Practitioner. Hannah has undertaken multiple Advanced Thread Lifting courses through the International Fellowship in Advanced Aesthetic Science.

Hannah also still works within the Emergency Department.
