HIGHLIGHTS FROM COSMEDICON 2023

NOW IN ITS 6TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR, COSMEDICON 2023 HOSTED AN EDUCATIONAL AND ACTION-PACKED FOUR DAYS OF LEARNING AND NETWORKING WITH SOME OF THE BEST IN THE INDUSTRY.

The pages of Aesthetic Medical Practitioner magazine once again came to life at COSMEDICON 2023. Held on 2-5 March at Intercontinental Double Bay, COSMEDICON 2023 featured international aesthetic medicine legends, including Dr Michael Kane (Plastic Surgeon, USA), Dr Ferial Fanian (Dermatologist, France), Prof R Glen Calderhead (L’Académie, South Korea) and Anna Baker (RN, Anna Baker Skin Clinic, UK) along with prominent local thought leaders. An esteemed audience of cosmetic doctors, plastic surgeons, cosmetic surgeons, dermatologists, aesthetic nurses and clinic owners learned new insights and practical takeaways on the most relevant treatments, topics and cutting-edge techniques and products in minimally invasive cosmetic practice, including facial rejuvenation, body sculpting, skincare and energy-based devices.

This year COSMEDICON also featured two full sessions of live injecting demonstrations in the scientific program where luminaries including Dr Joseph Hkeik (All Saint Clinic), Dr Niki Talic (Dr Fresh) and Dr Ferial Fanian revealed their tips and techniques for excellence in injectable results.

Scientific program delegates were also treated to free full-day workshops on Thursday and Sunday and breakfast workshops on Friday and Saturday, as well as access to a world-class trade exhibit on Friday and Saturday.

Of course, the social program was once again a show-stopper, kicking off with Welcome Drinks, sponsored by Hugel Aesthetics, at ‘The Bar’ on Thursday evening. The ‘Swinging Sixties’ Gala Dinner, sponsored by High Tech Medical, was held the following evening – a fantastic night filled with dancing, laughter and some seriously groovy costumes! And, as a new addition to COSMEDICON’s social calendar this year, an exclusive networking event was held in The Courtyard on Saturday night to wrap up COSMEDICON 2023.
